Cowboy Symposium 2006

Our Mennonite trained, full sister, Belgium mule team of Rosie and Jessie continued Rancho Santiago's winning streak in the "Parade of the Horse" at the 2006 National Cowboy Symposium. The symposium was held in Lubbock, Texas, on September 9th, 2006. This event is sponsored by the Llano Estacado Driving Society. Over 30 buggy and riding clubs participate and compete in this annual event.
"Rosie" consoles Dr. Jim on the loss of his tooth before the parade. Jim thought it gave him an authentic look of the old west.
Our 125 year old restored Hackney Wagon. We title this photo..."3 asses".
